I had my first appointment at Academy Dental today. Wonderful experience. Everyone from the receptionists (Victoria & Juan), the assistant (Bobby), who took full mouth x-rays, to the dentist, Dr. Mehta, all treated me like gold.
I had a semi-emergency dental problem & I found out yesterday my previous dentist no longer takes my insurance plan and they said if I want to pay out of pocket, they still couldn't get me in till April 18th - over a month away, even though I told them I was in pain.
I had to make the mad scramble to find another dentist that accepted my insurance plan & could take me quickly. Academy Dental checked both of those boxes! YAY! They understood my situation & gave me an appt for first thing this morning. Dr. Mehta identified what was needed & even gave me a couple of treatment options I could choose from.
Everyone was friendly and caring. The waiting room was very comfortable. I came early to fill out the 1st time patient paperwork. As soon as I was done, they took to the treatment room right away!
Everything was pristine clean.
I highly recommend this dental office. 5 Stars.
